Food distributor company customizing food related products for imported food chains. have been active in the MENA region since 2000 is seeking to hire Accounting Manager for Egypt Office.
To Manage the Accounting Dep. ensuring timeliness and accuracy of all accounts processing, closing and generation of financial statements as well as continuous development of processes and procedures in alignment with the department and the company’s objectives.
-Managing the Accounting Dep. and monitor the team’s performance to ensure achievement of objectives.
-Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
-Ensure that all financial data entry are up to date and accurate, that expenses are correctly allocated by cost center and that accrued expenses are identified and accurately recorded on monthly basis.
-Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
-Ensure accurate and timely transfer of data to general ledger, preparation of trial balance and closing.
-Ensure accurate and timely generation of Ghezaa financial statements.
-Take the initiative to enhance efficiency by developing work processes and procedures in the Accounting Department.
-Ensure continuous self-development to keep up to date with the knowledge needed for effective performance.
-Keep up to date with company’s service standards, policies, procedures and authority limits that affect the implementation of responsibilities.
-Present all periodical reports as needed by the above responsibilities.
The requirements listed below are the knowledge, skills and abilities required to hold and perform this position:
-University degree in Accounting.
-10 -12 years of experience in the field of Accounting, Must have FMCG experience.
-Professional Accounting Certificate CMA is a must.
-Highly motivated with an ability to handle work pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
-Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
-Strong presentation & communication skills.
-Strong coaching skills.
-Strong leadership skills.
-Very good communication skills with a high customer service orientation.
-Keen on learning, self-development and employees development.
-Proficient user of computer applications, Microsoft Office.
-SAP user is a must.
-Very good in both English and Arabic languages.
